Schaakvereniging Hoevelaken is door de jeugdcommissie SGS uitgeroepen tot ‘club van het jaar’.<\/p>\n

Een van de bekendste activiteiten dat ze jaarlijks (al 38 jaar!) organiseren is het jeugdschaaktoernooi in maart. Een mooi voorbeeld van een succesvol toernooi. Daarnaast is de vereniging de laatste jaren gegroeid en nu al meer dan 30 jeugdleden. Elke vrijdag staan een groep fanatieke vrijwilligers klaar om training te geven en de jeugdspelers te ondersteunen. Een van de talentvolle jeugdspelers Nubel El Mourabit heeft zich zelfs geplaatst voor het NK schaken in zijn leeftijdscategorie. Reden genoeg om deze vereniging in het zonnetje te zetten!<\/p>\n

Afgelopen vrijdag werden de bekende stappenexamens afgenomen en de prijzen uitgereikt van de interne competitie. Marcel Janssen bracht namens de jeugdcommissie een onverwachts bezoek en overhandigde de prijs aan jeugdleider Dirk Veldhuizen.<\/p>\n

Via deze weg nogmaals van harte gefeliciteerd met het bepalen van deze prijs. Zie het als een stimulans om op deze weg door te gaan!<\/p>\n
