Afgelopen vrijdagavond was het weer eens zover: gezamenlijke slotrondes in het HF Witte centrum in De Bilt. De vorige keer was al weer drie jaar geleden, maar nu konden we weer. Ruim 140 schakers traden aan voor de laatste wedstrijden in de groepen HKB en 1D van de SOS-competitie. Drie van deze wedstrijden werden op liveborden gespeeld. Daaronder de wedstrijden van de teams die vooraf op pole-position stonden voor het kampioenschap.<\/p>\n

In de eerste klasse D<\/strong> had het tweede team van SG Amersfoort nog 3 bordpunten nodig om het al uitgespeelde Houten-1 te passeren voor de titel. Dat bleek te doen, er werd met 4.5-3.5 gewonnen van Moira-Domtoren-2. Houten promoveert als nummer 2 wel mee naar de hoofdklasse. De Damrakkers en Rivierenland degradeerden en zullen komend seizoen in de 2e klasse uitkomen. Een blunder met een gemiste paardvork beklonk het lot van Rivierenland, dat daardoor op 4-4 bleef steken. OZU-2 onsnapte mede daardoor, en door hun winst op Kasteel-Lekstroom.<\/p>\n

In de Hoofdklaase B<\/strong> was Woerden-1 de favoriet, en zij maakten die rol waar door een duidelijke zege<\/a> op Doorn-Driebergen. ZZ Combinatie en De Giessen en Linge waren bij het ingaan van de laatste ronde reeds gedegradeerd.<\/p>\n
